Back At The Ranch Alpacas, nestled close to Mt. Rainier, offers white, fawn and brown Huacaya alpacas of exceptional quality and breeding. Each animal is registered with Alpaca Registry, Inc. (ARI)

Among Washington Alpaca Farms, our award winning herd is purposefully of moderate size. Each animal is given personal attention and training. Nutritional needs are watched closely. Overcrowding is avoided. As a result our herd is good natured, cooperative and healthy.

We breed for conformation and fleece character. Our fleece micron/curvature ratings are among the best in the industry.

In addition to the individual animals identified and described in the "Alpacas for Sale" section of this website, we offer various mother/offspring packages at considerable savings. All are for sale now.

We realize that, especially with first-time alpaca buyers, entering into a sales contract should be something more than a mere purchase. We offer ongoing advice, encouragement and consultation within the sale price. We appreciated having this kind of on-going relationship when we started out.
